Although its shortest counterpart has historically reveled in the spotlight, in large part due to Nike SB‘s success, the Nike Dunk High has recently enjoyed an influx of new attention. For its latest ensemble, Peter Moore’s 36-year-old design has taken on a “White/Midnight Navy” colorway.
Reminiscent of AMBUSH’s “Deep Royal” pair, the upcoming sneakers boast a two-tone arrangement rooted in the collegiate styling of the model’s inaugural “Be True To Your School” roster. “Colorless” smooth leather set the stage for deep, deep navy paneling around the forefoot, along the tongue and across the heel; profile swooshes, branding on the tongue and the outsole follow suit. The Dunk High may not “reinvent the wheel” and deliver the experimentation of the women-exclusive Rebel iteration, but it furthers along the silhouette’s legacy in a style equal parts heritage and modern.
No Nike SNKRS release details have been disclosed, but this high-top Nike Dunk is likely to arrive before autumn officially begins. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair ahead.
